Just a little explanation as to why I started this blog, then disappeared.

I started Pix Nutrition whilst going through a break-up from my eight-year relationship, and at the same time coping with a huge re-branding and renovation of my coffee shop at work which involved over-working and these two events combined resulted in becoming an emotional wreck!  I had no time to go to the gym, and I wasn't eating well due to partly to how hard I was working, but also because of emotional stress.  I felt hypocritical opening up anything about Pix Nutrition and working on it. I have now moved out to a house-share and living life for me now!  I'm happy and determined!  I should have waited to start this new hobby, but I was too keen and excited about it all!  I am now keen to get started on the nutrition career path too!  Hopefully, soon. So, here's to Pix Nutrition!  Woo!

The daunting first blog post...

I'm Steph.👋  I have decided to write a blog about food and nutrition.  It is a crazy-huge passion of mine, and if that is isn't enough reason so start this, I also want to encourage everyone to want to have some nutritional knowledge, too! How will my blog contribute to this already vast section of the online world? 1. Food Analysis I will write a post about a certain food/ingredient, discussing its benefits, or lack-of, to your body.  I will suggest how to include these foods into your meals or snacks.  I will include all foods: the obviously good, the obviously bad, and the ones that might surprise you.  2. Recipe Reviews I love cooking, and quite often create a favourite nutritionally-balanced meal just by bunging random foods together, and I find it ever so exciting!  I'll share these with you, because no one else in my life listens.  I will also review recipes that I cook from my favourite cookbooks. 3.
